Dynamo Careers Event - 'Get into IT'

Dynamo North East, in partnership with RTC North, are hosting a CPD networking event in a relaxed and supportive environment for teachers, careers advisors and providers of IT curriculum and careers guidance support services.

The session will be led by Bob Paton, Vice Chair of Dynamo, skills workstream leader and Sue Ormerod, Regional Director Nigel Wright Recruitment. Sue has worked in technology recruitment for over 20 years and has seen first-hand, the changes in demand for technical skills and the expertise needed by businesses in the region.

Did you know….

• There are currently over 2,000 vacancies within IT organisations in the North East?
• There are 32,000 people employed in IT within the North East?
• IT apprenticeships are available now within the North East for 16-19yr olds
• In the North East IT jobs include gaming, coding, designing government IT systems and more?
