Description

Newcastle University’s Cloud Innovation Centre invite you to participate in another Hackathon weekend as part of our ‘Connecting the City’ series of events, delivered with key partner and event sponsor, ENGIE. The event will take the form of a contest with a briefing on Friday 5th February, followed by a 2 day hosted hack (in person and online). Participants will build teams, and compete to see who can create the best and most impactful data expression, mashup or visualization relating to our challenge.

Help a major utility continue to enhance their services

Northumbrian Water operate over £11bn in assets across the United Kingdom. They are currently seeking to evidence the potential of investing in a new asset management systems and processes.

Engage with one of the largest organisations in the North

Who should attend?

People who have user experience, programming, data management and design skills are all welcome, as is anyone who is concerned with the problems being addressed at the event. If you’ve got useful skills or tools you can bring to the table then please do join us.
