Designing great user on-boarding experiences

with Richard Powell

User on-boarding is the difference between an experience that encourages your users to come back for more … or one that means you will never see them again. Richard will cover:

  • The important concepts you need to understand about user on-boarding
  • How to design successful on-boarding experiences
  • How to avoid damaging your on-boarding experience accidentally.

He’ll also share his user on-boarding successes, failures, and lessons he’s learnt based on 2 years worth of experimenting and testing at Server Density.

His slides from the event are now available online
